Rev. R.O. Moffett

Pastor R.O. Moffett was born in Winnsboro, Louisiana. After receiving his formal education he served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged after 4 years of service. After moving to Dallas, Texas in January of 1988, Pastor Moffett received his theological training from the D. Edwin Johnson Baptist Seminary and Criswell College.

Pastor Moffett is the Executive Director for a development corporation that builds homes for low income families as well as homes to fit any budget.

His motto is "If I can help somebody, then my living is not in vain." His favorite Scripture is Ephesians 3:30 "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." (NKJV)

Although Pastor Moffett is extremely busy, he is always approachable and accessible to those in need. He takes the time to teach Bible Study on Wednesday evenings and delivers the Word of God to the New Leaf flock on Sundays.

He has been the Pastor of the New Leaf Missionary Baptist Church for 29 years. He and the lovely First Lady, Karon Moffett, have been married for 32 years.
